Youth, women and people with disability have little autonomy, which demands that CREDEE program engage community members and local leaders and stakeholders to value safe spaces and supporting widows, people with disability, orphans and vulnerable children. To support enabling environment, women, OVCs and community leaders convene support groups at Riana Children’s home to identify and plan on ways to advocate for and support these groups through training, inclusion and social support. We help educate the community on how women can diversify house hold income and improve food security. We have created OCV committees to help inform and discuss issues facing this group and power in ways that are economically appropriate. The goal is to reduce time poverty for widows, OVCs and people with disability while increasing support for education, economic roles and the quality of their life.
